George Avila Jr.

A Southern California native and father of two sons, George III and Tristen Andrew. I became a grandfather to Dominic Andrew in November 2017. I have a 24 year career in the Commercial Modular Building industry where I've sold a number of military use auxiliary buildings, Wounded Warrior Clinics, A.A.R. buildings and more than a dozen U.S. Special MOUT training facilities all over the world. I am an avid reader of military, clandestine, CIA and espionage based novels, both Fiction and Non Fiction. I also enjoy the same genre of movies.

I've been intrigued by military aircraft since I was a young boy, specifically with Supersonic Jets. My obsession began when I witnessed the SR-71 Blackbird kick in it's afterburners while conducting a high speed flyby at the Norton AFB airshow in the early 80’s. As an adult, I made it a family affair and to my joy, both of my sons also love jets. To this day I attend airshows whenever possible.

It has been my dream to write military and clandestine spy based fiction novels, along the lines of my favorite authors, Tom Clancy, Brad Taylor, Don Mann and Brad Thor. My introduction of Special Agent Nick Torres and the series to follow, is the realization of that long overdue dream.
